Button Ups x Habitat

On April 2, 2015, Button Ups team members Sharaine Eldafrawy and Nazhua Tairi got the amazing opportunity of promoting their business and selling their product at the Habitat Student Market event at Temple University.

We met so many amazing new people, learned tips and tricks about being in business, and generated a lot of sales for ourselves. This amazing opportunity was given to us by a few men at Habitat, who offered us a free vendor table; to them, we thank you.

Now here's the exciting part. Sharaine and I had so much fun at this event, even though we were freezing because it was so windy, and I hadn't eaten anything all day except a cup of coffee and a granola bar, and all of our stuff kept blowing away (once again, because of the wind.) The Temple students were so nice and gave us so much encouragement as young business owners. We even got a few donations! Sharaine's friends from Temple helped promote us, and we even came up with a slogan, courtesy of Kendall and Kylie Jenner's "You want a burger? Eat a burger." Vine video. It went something like this: "You want a burger? Eat a burger. You want a Button? Buy a Button!" It's corny, I know.

Nonetheless, we enjoyed singing that out loud for fun. Even though we probably scared away a lot of potential customers. And probably annoyed the crap out of the guys at the table next to us.

Long story short, we had a great day. Can't wait to do this again next Saturday (April 11, 2015) at Kensington CAPA!
